Common Table Gathering
On Sunday evenings we come together for worship around a “common table” where we encounter Jesus with people who are different than us, and as we do, we discover that the way we follow Jesus together actually looks very similar.

We eat a meal together
We always begin by eating a meal together. There are vegan, df, and gf options, and everyone is encouraged to get to know someone new over dinner conversation. -

We celebrate communion weekly
We believe that in communion Christ is truly present by the Holy Spirit, nourishing our faith as we eat the bread and drink from the cup. Communion is a visible sign of an invisible grace. We trust that this meal points toward God’s promise to heal the world, so every time we come to the table we remember what Jesus has done, receive grace for today, and look forward to God’s future. -

We Read Scripture
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and that God speaks to us through these Scriptures into our real, everyday lives. We also pay attention to the wisdom of the wider church and its historic confessions, because we want everything we do to stay centered on Jesus.

We talk around the tables
Worship gatherings are interactive and dynamic. Many people participate in various aspects of the service such as reading scripture, praying, and blessing and sending others. During the teaching time we have breakout conversations to offer our thoughts, ask questions, and learn from each other. -

We Sing Songs
“Theology” is what we believe about who God is and how God relates to us and the world. A pastor named John Piper once said, “A congregation learns its theology by the songs they sing, not just by the preaching they hear.”

We play together
We believe play is an important part of worship, so we play games together in small groups and on Sundays as a large group.

Everyone cares for everyone
On Sundays, care doesn’t just come from pastors. It comes from all of us as we listen, notice, and show up for one another. There’s also a chance to receive one‑on‑one prayer with someone after every service.

We are a Church Plant of the PCUSA
Spring Church is a new church expression of the Northwest Coast Presbytery and we feel grateful for our friendship and connection to other churches in our Presbytery!
We meet at 110 Flora Street (First Baptist) in downtown Bellingham. Parking in the lot in front with the Last Supper and Sundial murals. Enter through the side kitchen door!
