What happens at Small Group?

Arrive & Connect

Each group starts with eating dinner together and a chance to check in with everyone through thoughtful icebreakers that eliminate awkwardness and help everyone feel seen and included.

Dive in

Each group explores various spiritual practices including hospitality, reading the Bible together, discussing questions about life, faith and priorities.

Prayer & Encouragement

Each group exchanges prayer cards or practices varying ways to encourage one another and check-in throughout the week. We often close our time together with prayer.

Wednesday Small Group

  • Wednseday Evenings from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

  • Spring Church’s Office at 300 N Commercial Street, Bellingham

  • We are learning how to read the Bible. Whether you’ve never read the Bible or you’ve been reading God’s word your whole life, this Bible Study Curriculum helps teach the overarching themes of the Bible and how to read it in context. Scroll down on this page to view content!

This is the series we are using - we are reading through Mark’s gospel together.

Questions you might be asking

  • Yes! You’re always welcome to visit any of the open small groups to get a feel with no obligation to come again and you can come with any faith background or no faith background. We’re a religiously diverse group.

  • Let either group leader know via email that you’d like to visit by clicking the button that says “visit this group.” They’ll help answer any questions and get you the address!

  • We run small groups seasonally (usually 12 weeks at a time) giving a chance for people to change groups, switch topics, and listen to what the community needs.

  • Many group attendees do not own or drive cars. Part of hospitality is transportation. Contact us and we can help you coordinate a ride!

  • Nope! Uncommon friendship means we hope that these groups are varied in all sorts of ways - genders, ages, life experience.

  • Not yet but if you have children and want to join, let’s talk!
