What happens at Small Group?

Arrive & Connect

Each group starts with a beverage (tea/coffee/soda), some kind of food and a chance to check in with everyone through thoughtful icebreakers that eliminate awkwardness and help everyone feel seen and included.

Dive in

Each group explores various spiritual practices including hospitality, reading the Bible together, discussing questions about life, faith and priorities.

Prayer & Encouragement

Each group exchanges prayer cards or practices varying ways to encourage one another and check-in throughout the week. We pray close our time together with prayer.

Wednesday Small Group

  • We eat dinner together together first.

    We check in, laugh a lot, and talk honestly about faith and life. We watch a short video from the Alpha 30 Days content yon Youtube. Then we share thoughtful conversation, welcoming a space to make friends and learn alongside people of different ages and life stages in an open, curious environment.

  • Yes! You’re always welcome to visit any of the open small groups to get a feel with no obligation to come again and you can come with any faith background or no faith background. We’re a religiously diverse group.

  • Let either group leader know via email that you’d like to visit by clicking the button that says “visit this group.” They’ll help answer any questions and get you the address!

  • We run small groups seasonally (usually 12 weeks at a time) giving a chance for people to change groups, switch topics, and listen to what the community needs.

  • Many group attendees do not own or drive cars. Part of hospitality is transportation. Contact us and we can help you coordinate a ride!

  • Nope! Uncommon friendship means we hope that these groups are varied in all sorts of ways - genders, ages, life experience.
